Zachary Pushee

Zachary is the owner of Maine Mobile CPR. He has been an American Heart Association-certified cardiopulmonary resuscitation instructor since 2013. He has more than 16 years of experience in various healthcare settings, both in a hospital and in the field as a paramedic. Zachary holds an associate degree in advanced medical care from Kennebec Valley Community College, a bachelor’s degree in health sciences from Kaplan University and a master’s in business administration from Purdue Global University.

Katherine Pushee

Katherine is the scheduler for Maine Mobile CPR. She has almost two decades of experience in healthcare. Katherine began as a certified nursing assistant in long-term care facilities. She then spent seven years working in a Level II trauma center. While doing this, she also worked toward becoming a registered nurse. She graduated in 2017 with her associate degree in nursing from Maine College of Health Professions and in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Purdue Global University.

BLS Classes for Healthcare Professionals

We offer several different options for BLS classes for healthcare professionals:
BLS Class, Instructor-Led Training: This class trains participants to promptly recognize a life-threatening emergency, give chest compressions, deliver the appropriate ventilations, and provide early use of an AED. We cover adult, child, and infant one-person and two-person cardiopulmonary resuscitation and AED, rescue breathing, and foreign airway obstruction. You will complete both a practical and a written exam. The course reflects the 2020 AHA Guidelines Update for CPR and ECC.
  • Cost: $65 per student
  • – Including written and practical exams and course completion cards.

  • – Course length: Five to six hours.*

HeartCode® BLS: This training course is a blended class that uses both eLearning and in-person instruction. The eLearning portion is the class portion, with interactive simulations to teach BLS knowledge. The in-person instruction is the practical portion, where students can practice their skills in one-person and team scenarios. This training reflects the 2020 AHA Guidelines Update for CPR and ECC, and can be found at https://shopcpr.heart.org/heartcode-bls.

  • Cost: The online portion of this training is $31 per student, $40 per student for the practical portion.

BLS Refresher: This training course is a refresher class that updates students on current AHA practices and reviews adult, child, and infant one-person and two-person cardiopulmonary resuscitation and AED, rescue breathing, and foreign airway obstruction. We offer this training class in both instructor-led and online options. It reflects the 2020 AHA Guidelines Update for CPR and ECC.

Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Training for the Layperson

Maine Mobile CPR, LLC, also offers a variety of cardiopulmonary resuscitation training options for lay people. They include:
Heartsaver First-Aid/CPR/AED: This training is a video-based, instructor-led course, teaching adult, child, and infant CPR and AED, as well as choking relief. First-aid topics include environmental emergencies, stopping bleeding, and proper usage of asthma inhalers and Epi-Pens. This course reflects the 2020 AHA Guidelines Update for CPR and ECC.
  • Cost: $100 per student.

  • – Course length: Four to five hours*
Heartsaver Adult, Child, and Infant CPR/AED: This is a video-based, instructor-led training course that teaches adult, child, and infant cardiopulmonary resuscitation, AED, and choking relief. This training reflects the 2020 AHA Guidelines Update for CPR and ECC.
